A New Face for Biblical Inerrancy (part 1 of 6)

I’ve recently written a paper on Peter Enns’ 2005 book Inspiration and Incarnation and Kenton Sparks 2008 book God’s Word in Human Words for my class on Evangelicalism with Randall Balmer

The goal of my study was to analyze the writings of Enns and Sparks.  I wanted to understand their arguments and find out what makes each “tick”.

Because Evangelicalism and Biblical Inerrancy are such popular topics right now, I thought I’d share my paper in 5 parts so that:

  • You can actually read it (it’s a lot to read in one sitting)
  • I can get your thoughts on what Enns’ and Sparks’ books mean for the changing face of Evangelicalism
  • Someone can tell me that I’ve completely misunderstood the points that Enns and Sparks were trying to make
  • I can keep posting blogging through finals (without actually having to create new content).

I’ll put the introduction as well as a full copy of the paper up in the next day or so.
