John Franke has an excellent introduction to Barth’s life and theology in Karl Barth For Armchair Theologians.
The only other two books I have read on Barth are Karl Barth and Evangelical Theology: Convergences and Divergences by Sung Wook Chung, and Karl Barth: Theologian of Freedom by Clifford J. Green.
